Uptic Studios Design Skills Test

From February to March, I interviewed for a Graphic Design/Marketing Associate position at Uptic Studios. After two and a half rounds of interviews, I was given a design skills test to create a one-page project brief for one of their resident retreat homes. I received files including 3D renderings and photos of the site during and after completion.

Initially, I struggled to determine the exact requirements for the project brief. After consulting with an architect friend and researching project briefs, I created 1-page documents that captured the essence of the company and met industry standards. Additionally, I designed a project brief for the Uptic Studios website, inspired by other architecture firms that showcase their briefs online. Noticing that Uptic Studios had an incomplete section for this retreat home, I seized the opportunity to demonstrate my UI skills.
